A Race Like No Other!
The Men's Health Urbanathlon 2010 was held on 31 January 2010 in Singapore. 1,500 Urbanathletes turned up for this one-of-a-kind race as they traversed eight urban obstacles over a 12.5km route along the Singapore River and Marina Promenade.
Team Teledata was represented by Mr. Christopher M. Pan, Chairman and CEO of Teledata Group. Mr. Pan completed the grueling 12.5 km course in a time of 1 hr 20 mins. His indomitable spirit and "never-say-die" attitude truly exemplified his management style in steering the Teledata Group into a new decade of expansion and growth!
Congratulations to Mr. Pan for flying the Teledata flag at the 2010 Singapore Urbanathlon!
What is an Urbanathlon?
The Singapore Urbanathlon is an integrated series of innovative urban obstacles and structures spread over a 12.5km-long course. Flagging off at Marina Promenade, it pits male competitors on their strength, stamina and agility as they navigate a challenging route along the Singapore River in a one-of-a-kind race.
Obstacles in the Urbanathlon included the 'Leap of Faith', where participants will jump off a platform into the sea before wading through the shallows and continuing their overland route, as well as 'Wall Street' - a 1.8m high wall to scale - and other exciting urban challenges.
